Lost and Found
Lost and Found: trash (gel and bar wrappers) and gear trash (looks like one person had their gaiters disintegrate; I picked up pieces on the ascend and again on the descend; I assume it was from one of the hikers I met on my ascend); one person lost their summer pole basket; I put it in my side pocket and forgot to leave it at the trailhead; remembered at home

Comments
Comments: the trail has some significant ice flows in the usual sections; I ascended on spikes but descended that section on crampons; met about 10 people descending on my ascend and all but one said that their descend on spikes was sooo sketchy and nervous-wrecking. (The person who didn't mind had his fellow hikers tell me that "he likes to live on the edge". :) ) All I can say is that it was easy with crampons. I could see the skidding, sliding,.... marks from the others. They tried to avoid some sections with some 'inventive' bushwhacks/bypasses, though those were at times just as sketchy as the ice.

From above the section where the ski trail intersects with the hiking trail to the vista point and all the way to the summit the trail is in fantastic shape; snow cover all the way; spikes gave great grip. The 'most dangerous' part was the tower as the ice was falling off the antennas non-stop and splintered all across the platform. I only stayed up there for a very short time .
