Highly recommend another route. Water crossings are very difficult, almost impossible. Bushwhacked along the river to avoid multiple crossings which was fine but definitely time consuming. After finally making it across all the water crossings, I put snowshoes on after finding a dusting - inch of fresh snow. Micro spikes probably would have sufficed but I had the shoes and they worked out well. Bluebird day at the summit but strong wind gusts. Snowshoes on the way down until I had to navigate the water again. Put on spikes for a little bit but they kept climbing up so I barebooted back to the car. |
