Comments
Comments: Took advantage of a weekday off from work and headed north to grab a couple more for my March grid. Started out alone barebooting until just after the first water crossing, then I put on the hillsounds. I saw a couple folks enjoying the sun on the ledge at north Kinsman and I headed over to south where I caught up with Danielle ( working on her second grid) and her friend Nancy. We all hiked out together joined by the fella who finished his 48 over 70. There was a good amount of snow with deep drifts between the two peaks and some ice under all the snow which made sharp spikes the MVP of the day. With the incoming weather, this report will likely be voided but I wanted folks to be aware that there’s still plenty of snow and ice up high. Snowshoes would’ve only been useful for about 0.5 mile in between the two peaks. Definitely needed the sharp spikes though.
