Two difficult water crossings early on in the York Pond trail. A few more after that that were a bit easier to cross. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Kilkenny ridge before Waumbek had a few blow downs that were easy to navigate around, but trailblazes are very faded and hard to find. |

| Comments: |
The Kilkenny ridge trail before Waumbek was completely unbroken, but it was a cold morning and the snow was hard and frozen, and even in snowshoes we couldn't really pack it down. The trail is hard to follow, as many of the blazes are faded. We relied on our map. The first two water crossings were flowing fast, we had to carry our dog across. |
