Comments
Comments: Spring is starting to show but winter still has a hold on Cabot. The lower elevation is mostly slush but not yet a monorail. Unless there is any significant snowfall in the forecast, microspikes are sufficient if you are only doing an up and back to Cabot on the above listed trails. It looks like KRT and Unknown Pond Trail have been traversed but I would recommend snowshoes as it was tough to tell how broken the trail actually was. Higher elevation on Cabot has more hard packed snow and ice but all doable with microspikes. We stayed at the cabin for the night and kept fairly warm. It was nice to see the renovations that were completed last year.
