| Comments: |
The first 6-7 miles of the hike was rotten slushy snow, but not much depth of snow. Just enough to make it difficult. Past 7 miles the temperature was colder with the elevation gain, the snow pack was deeper, and the trail was solid.
Bondcliff was windswept and not much snow, exposed rock, and ice. There is still deep snow between Bond and West Bond. Watch for postholes in the trail that are hidden by drifts.
Microspikes all the way up and down. |
