Great conditions! Snow most of the way aside from a few dry patches and a few icy patches. Used spikes all the way and it worked out great; snowshoes would be fine too. No postholeing. The only slightly tricky spot (steep and icy) was near the top, and it wasn‘t too bad but it could be avoided by taking the left route when the trail splits into the lollipop about a quarter mile before the top. Have fun! |
