Comments
Comments: micro spikes up and down. A mix of hard pack snow, soft granular, wet leaves in standing water, and sheets of ice. The depth down low was about 3-4 inches, closer to the summit 6 inches. In the woods at the true summit, the surface snow supported our weigh but the snow depth is 18-24 inches with some deep post holes. Beautiful day with nice views of the Notch. 6 inches of new snow expected tomorrow.
