A beautiful afternoon for Mt Crawford. i was able to bareboot on a mix of bareground, patchy ice and snow until approximately 2000 feet then micros went on until returning to Bemis Bridge. There was a surprising amount of frozen water flow on the trail. There are sections of emerging monorail but snowpack doesnt seem anymore than approximately 12+- inche. The summmit is mostly bare with sweeping beautiful views. it was nice chatting briefly with the hiker in the parking lot as well as the folks that had gone out to Mt Resolution today. |
