Comments
Comments: This route, due to the southern exposure and mainly open areas, is virtually snow/ice free. Two ice patches of note prior to the junction, less than 10 feet long, that took some caution to rock hop around. Otherwise, the few remaining ice patches are insignificant and easily avoided. A few wet ledges ascending Piper, and the normal large puddles on the way to Whiteface (that can be skirted). Plenty of minor mud from the ground frost working its way out.

No need for snowshoes or traction on this route unless we get frozen precip.

Breezy, but nice early spring afternoon with sunny skies and temperatures in the 40s.
