Comments
Comments: Nice quick, quiet day up Mt. Tom. Snowshoes went for a ride as we just used spikes from the car to the summit and back. Thought about heading over to Field but it was pretty cold and windy above 3500 feet - it warmed up nicely once we were below that elevation. Some great spots for butt sliding on Avalon. The drifting snow on A-Z made the trail a little hard to follow in some sections and parts of the trail were pretty narrow with a major drop off to the side. Only saw one other person all day - great first day of spring hike!
