Comments
Comments: A quick hike before spring solstice: After last night's rain, lower half of Mt Tecumseh Trail was a mix: well-consolidated snow, ice (will definitely require traction when the temperature drops below freezing), some exposed rock steps, and a few very short stretches of dirt and leaves. Upper half of the trail, plus Sosman Trail, were all packed snow / mashed potato snow on the way down, when the sun finally came out. Microspikes worked up and down without post-holing. Snowshoes went for a ride.
