I was caught somewhat by surprise by spring weather in eastern MA. I was bit surprised to find snow banks along road sides. I wisely did carry my microspikes which turned out to be good idea. I was able to manage without them at higher elevations on Ted's by careful foot placement etc, but I was definitely glad to put them on as I descended steep section on Carolyn's Trail. |
