Comments
Comments: Spring conditions -- plenty of wet trail and dry trail, as well as patches of ice, slush, and short sections of undermined deep spring snow.

Barebooted the entire ~15 miles; light traction and snowshoes stayed on the pack. Much less snow this year than the past three years we've done this route, and we were a week to 10 days earlier this year than in the past.

Saw no one the entire day except the aforementioned trail maintainer (we saw him last year, too!) near Jackson Hill, a few people at the fire tower on Pitcher Mountain, and another couple near our parked vehicle.
