Comments
Comments: Not much to add to the previous report on Valley Way that headed up to Adams; for Osgood Trail, I needed light traction for only a brief way heading up from the hut since it was mostly rock and a few patches of avoidable ice to the summit. Summit stayed in the clear all day despite other summits clouding over. Very slippery, slick, snowy slush headed down Valley Way. Snow was still supportive with micros, the only postholes on Valley Way were from a moose. I carried snowshoes and they seemed to enjoy the free ride.
