3rd car at 8:45, full on return at 1:30 people did a good job parking, but it is an issue with only 9-10 spots at this trailhead. |

mostly ice packed, soft except in a few spots, some bare ground on the first third. Micros did the trick due to soft ice, carried snowshoes, not really needed on this trail, not much snow pack left. Great morning with spectacular views from the tower in all directions. unfortunately some ungrateful soul wore their spikes on the new tower floor despite aggressive signage. I guess rules and common sense don't apply to some people. Sad as this was a nice upgrade. Floor is still ok, but really stupid thing to do. |
