Comments
Comments: Did the full clockwise loop over Imp Face and past to the junction with the North Carter Trail and down. The first mile has very little snow on it and needs spikes at most. After a short and slightly steep and rocky section around mile one the trail levels out for a while and there is enough snow there to make snowshoes desirable if the snow is soft, although it still isn't very deep. Summit has several exposed rocks and is melting fast. Snowshoes worn over the summit ridge and most of the way down until the snow got very thin again down near the bottom. The warmup on Thursday and Friday will likely melt much of the remaining snow on this hike.
