Comments
Comments: Nice packed trail. Careful on trail edges as snow is deep and soft off of trail. Snowshoes were nice, but you can probably get a way with spikes. We saw a couple parts where someone post holed. Started off not sticky, but by 12:30 - 1 pm the snow was very sticky. One section of blue ice on the Avalon trail. There was no way up it with out falling. Looks like a herd path has been created to circumvent it.
