Room for quite a few cars at the main parking lot on Mountain Road but very squishy mud - I was glad I took the 4WD car today for the parking. |

Just a lot of drainage issues, leading to a lot of the usual mud this time of year. |

Lots of mud in a lot of places. Minor ice patches on North Uncanoonuc. Major ice patches on northwest trails of South Uncanoonuc. I carried minor traction but was able to avoid the ice - but it could be treacherous. Crossed paths with someone who reported a small fire on summit of North Uncanoonuc but when I got up there I did not find it - some firefighters were heading up to check it out. |
