The Rocky Branch Trail head has a "CLOSED" sign, but the trail can be done.
We started at Glen Boulder, and after reaching the Davis Path, another trail closure sign was seen as we headed for Isolation. We stayed on the Isolation trail and Rocky Branch for the descent in order to inspect the trail conditions. All water crossings were very easy to get across. One of the crossing was severely changed by Irene, but there are Carin's on both sides, for when you approach that crossing with the change you would wonder if the trail even crosses the brook at that point. |
