Gorge's Brook, Carriage Rd and Snapper, plus road walk

Beautiful day,but cold wind on top. Trails were packed and super-fast. The worst area was in the parking lot--you couldn't get out of your car without crampons. I wore traction the whole way and the only issue was sticky snow later in the day, but not enough to slow things down. The spur trail to the East summit was packed but not as wide as the other more-traveled trails. I past a couple of skiers coming up the Carriage Road on my way down to Snapper. These trails are some of the most gentle, easiest trails in the Whites.
