New bridges on Gale River Road west look nice. Night construction on I-93 in Franconia Notch, resulting in 1 lane of traffic and thus delays. |

Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Standing/Running Water on Trail |

Didn't notice a significant change from Irene. Rock hoppable. |

One duckunder (8-10 inch diameter) in the upper switchbacks. Upper switchbacks could use some brushing. |

| Comments: |
Trails were generally dry and good shape, though there were a few brief areas of mud and running water. Minimal footbed damage from Irene. Starting to see some golden birch and red hobblebush leaves. |
