Comments
Comments: A nice hike out after an extremely blustery night in the Cabot Cabin with amazing winds pummeling throughout the night. Temps began dropping after midnight and was glad to have a zero degree bag with liner. The evening set up started with a mishap of the xtherm insulated pad winglock valve being pulled out of mattress (1st time using). i managed to temporarily fix lucklily as wasnt looking forward to sleeping on a foam pad.(redundancy makes a difference)Awoke to light snow falling and trails much firmer than the afternoon before.Trail at upper elevations was drifted over this morning from winds. snowshoes back to vehicle although micros would've worked as well 48/48 SSW.
