 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked on Thompson Road entrance. Logging operation there leaves very space for parking. There's also a temporary trail under the powerlines to use.
Then parked on the shoulder of Cathedrale Ledge Road where the winter maintenance ends, about 6 cars there. |

Peaked Mtn Trail, Middle Mtn Trail, Bryce Trail up and auto road (closed) down
It was about 45F at 6 am, great morning to take a local hike before the rain moves in. The trails are very icy in part and summits are mostly on bare rock. The southern slopes are almost snowless, leaving a low ice monorail in place. The views were great and I saw very few people, only some nice guys and ice climbers in Echo Lake State Park surroundings. |
