The west branch of the Isolation Trail (from Davis Path down to Dry River Trail) is wiped out as soon as the trail meets the brook. The trail has been swept away. There is also a missing section of the Dry River Cutoff trail. |

Leave yourself enough time and daylight to find the trail again. Trekking poles are extremely helpful. The west section of the Isolation Trail will need significant rebuilding if it is to ever function as a trail again--it's now an adventurous bushwack. |
