Comments
Comments: Couldn't let the nice weather pass, so went for another quick hike.

Trail was very slushy (bootpack melting), which will eventually turn into a blue ice skating rink. Spikes were adequate this afternoon, but snowshoes worked better (spikes were postholing into the slush up high; snowshoes gripped the soft ice bulges better too).

Full snow cover remains in the woods, about 10-15 inches on this side. Would recommend snowshoes for the other trails.
