| Recommended Equipment: |
Snowshoes, Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
No problems whatsoever. All were either bridged or frozen. |

|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a few, no booties, seemed fine. |
|
| Bugs: |
Snow fleas. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
I found exactly one MSR Lightning Ascent snowshoe as I was coming back down the Mt. Kinsman trail. I left it leaning against the trail sign post in the parking lot. Come get it! Don't let that beauty rust in the rain!! |

| Comments: |
There were many places at lower elevations where there was a thin film of snow over slippery ice. My feet would have flown out from under me without care. There were a few spots on Kinsman Ridge where the ice required some thinking to get around. All good for the sliding back down! |
