Comments
Comments: Lincoln Woods Trail was packed out becoming narrower approaching the bridge this morning but was well tramped in the afternoon from lots of skiers. I used spikes on both passes and they served me well. At the bridge I switched to snowshoes and left them on for the out-n-back of Bondcliff Trail - this was the only real choice today: trail was soft on top and became a bit sticky on descent. Thanks to the folks who broke trail yesterday and those who were ahead of me this morning for making it a fine snowshoe track. Everyone else I saw today was wearing snowshoes as well.

Twas a stellar day: on top of Bondcliff I was greeted with blue skies, abundant sun and near zero wind. This was my only destination today and I was very happy to linger at the summit for at least 30 minutes - and most of that was in solitude. As I was leaving a few folks were coming up and I passed a few more on my way out. Lots of alone time today was spent just stopping at random points on the trail and enjoying the weather, the winter beauty and the sounds of silence.
