| Comments: |
This report expires today due to snow falling now.
The trail is pretty well packed out all the way to the summit. A few short sections of ice flows on the shoulder between 1.4 and 2 miles from the trailhead. Some drifting along the ridge close to the summit obscured the trail completely for very short stretches but there were a dozen or so folks after me (first on trail today) who would have broken it out pretty good. There is an occasional post hole along the ridge -only in the drifted spots. Trail was spike-able and fast today but snowshoes will be needed starting tomorrow to pack the new snowfall. |
