Our group of 16 people were taking part in a hike sponsored by the Southeast Mass AMC chapter. We wore snowshoes the entire way packing down the trail from the previous days snowfall. All previously reported post holes were covered over. The summit area had exposed rock in places. Fortunately the wind forecast was wrong. There was barely a hint of a breeze when we arrived at the summit at 1pm. We spent some time there enjoying the great views and taking photos. |
