Comments
Comments: Snow is super fluffy and I used spikes for the vast majority of the time. Switched briefly to snowshoes to plow through some crotch-deep drifts near the summit of Chocorua. Brook trail is severely postholed the entire way, some going thigh-deep, and Liberty from Hammond trail to the summit is also postholed (probably by the same person).

Hard pack under all the fluff. Liberty and Brook all have standing water on trail.

Thought I had a late start at 10 but I was the first on all the trails today (except coming down Piper from the summit). Saw one other guy at the summit who came up from Piper. 2(ish?) other people headed up Liberty trail after me.
