Glen Ellis Falls parking lot had plenty of room. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing of the Ellis River accomplished by rock hops including some slightly below water level. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Wilcat Ridge Trail from route 16 to Wildcat A in good shape. Very little damage from the tropical storm probably due to most of the steep sections being rock ledges and rock steps. Bog bridges on the ridge are new and in good condition. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw many dogs today. Above the Ellis River the trail is mostly dry so carry water. |

| Comments: |
The scouts and the leaders of Manchester NH troop 91 hiked out of Pinkham Notch to the summit of Wildcat D to set up the flag on the observation deck. There was also a group at Wildcat A with the flag.
As noted previously the trail is in good condition. There was one or maybe two small trees down that caused no problems. Only a few muddy areas that were easy to get by.
Great views over to the Presidential Range as even Mt Washington's summit cleared by 2:00PM. |
