Trails were in great shape. There were a few up rooted small pines on the Bondcliff Trail between the Twinway junction and West Bond Spur. Easily ducked under but will require attention before Winter. |

Started at the Galehead hut and headed up the Twinway to South Twin. Great views this morning. I continued on to the Bondcliff Trail and visited the Bonds. It was windy on West bond but on Mt Bond and Bondcliff the wind had disappeared. It was the best weather and views I have ever had on Bondcliff. It was hard to leave. I continued on to Zealand and then to the hut where I spend the night trying to tune out a snoring guest. Great day to be above treeline! |
