Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: First two crossings are wooded bridges, the third crossing was running high, icy rocks, no safe options. We followed the brook uphill .4 miles looking for another place to cross. Had to cross some runoff on the left to keep moving uphill. Found a natural bridge of two logs and some rocks that cross to a solid snow mass in the middle of the brook, then walk or shimmmy across two side by side limbs to the other side. HIke up the banking to reconnect with the trail. There are numerous hop overs and one other smaller crossing a couple miles in. Use a couple of rocks to hop to the banking.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: two fallen limbs after the water crossing. Step over.

Comments
Comments: The trail was in rough shape. We wore micro spikes all day. The trail was hard pack, frozen granular, with an uneven surface with divots from rain and melt off. Some postholes, mostly on the edges. Some sections of the trail had a narrow mono rail forming. Most of the ledges were bare rock. The chute up to Moriah was solid packed with an icy sheet in the upper section. You can get by the ice by stepping to the right.
