Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The stream crossing on Dicey's Mill is open water. The old log was easy to balance on.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of new blowdowns from Wednesday's wind. Mostly smaller branches and trees below elevation 2500. One large top of a Beech fills Dicey's Mill Trail 50 feet up from Tom Wiggins. Two large Hemlocks below that, one at chest height. And one large one on Blueberry Ledge Trail. I removed most of the small stuff. The Beech could be sliced and diced with a small saw.

Comments
Comments: Great frozen hard packed trail perfect for spikes and moving fast. No need for snowshoes today. Lots of ice on the ledges, on many flat spots, and on most steep sections. Tomorrows snow will cover it all, so be careful on steeper sections. Great day to be out. Mid 20's with no wind.
