Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the Cog hiker lot. Plenty of spots open at 7am.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Blue, Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Snow - Drifts

Recommended Equipment: Snowshoes, Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: River crossing was frozen and easily crossed.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few minor blowdowns; easily navigated

Dog-Related Notes: Ended up hiking with Lucy (Georg’s poodle) as well as Georg and Per.

Comments: Trail was in great shape. I wore Hillsound micro’s the whole trip. Snowshoes and crampons came for the ride. Great day and even better company.
