Used micros all the way. At least 6 snowshoers packed down the trail in the morning so I had no trouble postholing. Would recommend spraying spikes with oil to prevent snow from sticking. Trail from Galehead Hut to South Twin is pretty steep so I'd bring crampons for this section in case the snow turns to ice in the coming days. |
