Comments
Comments: An unexpectedly beautiful morning hike of these summits. Partly sunny with amazing undercast. Temporarily rejoined the "no spikes nation" and barebooted to Hancock Loop Trail. Snowshoes to ascend the luge like trail to S Hancock. Between the butt sliding track and blue ice i was glad to ascend this way. Between peaks the trail is choppy with occasional postholes. Snowshoes remained on to hopefully help smooth this past weeks churning. Descending from N very little blue ice with again loose and choppy conditions. Switched to micros for the remaining hike out. I crossed paths with no one today
