Parking/Access Road Notes: Lot plowed. Two other vehicles in lot at 8:00 a.m.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Packed Powder/Loose Granular, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The small brook crossings up Unknown Pond Trail are/were collapsing. Due to last week's rain and warmup, the ice bridges were weakened. One broke through when I was crossing, and I got soaked up to my shins.

Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple blowdowns, passable under or around.

Lost and Found: Lost bottom half of my Black Diamond trekking pole.

Comments: Trail was nicely broken out on the way up but a couple bare booting post-holed all over the place and messed up the track. Snowshoes would probably be best.
