Trail well packed out; less than 1" fresh powder at the base, 2"-6" of drifted powder on the ridge. Icy in spots, especially at low elevation (Glencliff Trail) and on the summit cone (Carriage Road) where Thursday's rain pooled and then froze into solid blue ice. Most of the route would be fine in microspikes but I was glad to have crampons for the summit cone. |
