Great trail. First time using this trail. The trails are in great shape. The Snow is packed down really nice. Traction is fine with spikes. I wore my snowshoes up took them off for the down switched to spikes. Really sunny day. You have a really nice warm up for about 2.8 miles. you get to scar ridge and the elevation really hits you. Lots of nice small switchbacks, great views to keep you motivated. Winter is still here in the whites. |
