Comments
Comments: The bottom half of the hike was choppy snow covered in a fresh dusting. Snow shoes were best in order to just stay on top of the many boot prints.

Higher up the accumulation grew and I had to break trail through some 1-2 foot drifts. One at the top in a steep section might have been close to 3 feet.

Ledges had enough snow to not worry me too much.

Only took off my snowshoes for the last stretch where all Chocorua trails converge. I put on crampons, but microspikes would have worked just fine there.

Absolutely gorgeous day at the top with negligent wind and clear skies. It's the type of weather you dream of for a summit like Chocorua.
