Comments
Comments: Couple inches of fresh snow Sunday morning, especially up top. Used microspikes to Avalon, then switched to snowshoes. Lots of people out there with just spikes, so shoes aren’t required, but shoes certainly made life easier, especially from Field to Willey. On the way back down, the Avalon trail had become very packed out from sledders, making microspikes a much better choice in that section.
