Comments
Comments: A few inches of light powder on a hard packed Valley Way this morning. Light traction was all that was needed and the powder was all but gone upon return. Some frozen post holes to watch out for but easy to avoid if you pay attention.

Osgood had some short sections of blue ice and hard windswept snow but was mostly rock. We stuck with spikes here. Winds were light on Madison, it appeared we hit wind lull just right. Gulfside and Airline up to Adams had significantly more ice and much less rock, I chose to toss on crampons. A brief snow shower broke out just before we hit summit which was nice. The windsds started to pick up a bit once decending Adams that only made us feel better about the decision to not alter our plans and continue south.

A fine alpine day with good company and crossing paths with many friendly hikers. Big congrats to Liam on 573 and 574! See ya tomorrow!
