The main crossing has enough of an ice bridge to be easily crossable. I probably wouldn’t jump up and down on it in some spots though. |

| Comments: |
Conditions were much less icy than expected even after the fun weather on Friday. Like everyone has been saying, the bushwhack tracks are excellent (just make sure you pay attention on Engine Hill and don’t end up on the crappy track that veers downhill and to the left at one point on the way up to the peak). HOWEVER, there were lots and lots of people out without snowshoes, which was very depressing. In some spots it’s not an issue, but in other spots there are now knee-deep postholes just waiting to break your ankle. Please please please wear your snowshoes people. |
