Comments
Comments: I played it safe and turned back at the second crossing. The water levels were high with a good volume of water. I bushwhacked upstream a bit, but couldn't find a suitable spot to cross. I just wasn't comfortable with the situation so I bailed. I was concerned about re-crossing on the return trip, and given my assessment of the second crossing, I assumed the 3rd crossing would probably be out of the question anyway.

I spoke with a couple of people headed out on my return trip, and they were going to see for themselves. I asked them to post their trip reports. I would interested to know if they made the crossings, and if so, their assessment and how it went.

On the positive side, the trail was rock solid and an absolute breeze, right up to the point where I turned around.
