 | Comments: |
The trail was firm this morning with the cold temps overnight. The first mile had a lot of flow ice. The ledges were really postholed from the warm temps yesterday. The trail was torn up and frozen rough all the way to the summit with deep post holes. Calm conditions overall until the summit which had some gusty winds. It began to snow when I was finishing, which may hide the flow ice sections. Full crampons would not have been an overkill today. |
