Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The first crossing near the parking lot was fine. The second crossing 0.3 in was a slush bath when I encountered it. It was hard to tell what was stable. There was a fallen log across the trail but appeared unstable. I took 20 minutes to drag some deadwood to the crossing and shored up the bridge. By the time I got back on the way down the slush had largely drained. I bet its frozen in place by now. NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT DRAG DEADWOOD INTO THE BROOK. THIS WAS TAKEN FROM A RE-VEGETATION AREA (ABANDONED SECTION OF TRAIL).

Comments
Comments: Plan was to hike up and ski down but Waterville Valley was closed due to the rain and melting and the need to preserve the trails for the holidays.
