The one little crossing was more challenging than usual! I gave up trying to stay out of the water and just slogged through snow shoes and all. |

Even with snow shoes I managed to post hole quite a few times. It didn’t help that the trail was already full of post holes. I just added bigger ones.
Slush was lurking underneath in many spots. I found it easier to just parallel the trail in a couple of spots.
Trail along side the “Little “ River on the bushwhack has ice chunks from the river in the trail.
The river was roaring.
I guess conditions are just going to be extremely challenging until we get some snow again. ???? |
