Comments
Comments: With the snowshoe traffic yesterday, and the cold temps, the trail was packed down so nicely!!! Started in Hillsound Trail Crampons and never ended up needing to switch to snow shoes. After I came down off of Pierce and turned back onto Crawford Path heading to Eisenhower, there was some deep drifting for about 3-4 feet, so left the Hillsounds on. All the way to Eisenhower the trails were still very packed, maybe 3 or 4 very small sections of drifting (like 2-3 feet sections). Passed about 25 - 30 others out today, some in spikes, some in snow shoes. On the descent the trails were still packed nicely.
